Canada Blower is a developer of various types of air moving systems. It developed a PT Power Tube Make-Up Air System - one of the cheapest ways form for large industrial plants ventilation air systems.
PT Air Make-Up fan system is a new ventilation concept. It utilizes some aerodynamic principles for supplying, tempering and distributing make-up air in a building in the cold season. It offers more efficiency, economy and comfort than most conventional Make-up air units.
If the exhaust fans are provided for ventilation, both for industrial and process exhaust and personnel comfort, a negative pressure within the Building created. This negative pressure causes several problems:
- Process exhaust systems are less efficient and can not function properly.
- Down flow can occur through gravity vents and result in the back venting of products of combustion from flues and stacks of heaters and process equipment.
- Are designs that have a dsicomfort employees. Safe operation of exterior doors may also be affected.
Our Power Tube Fan Make-Up Air System solves all these problems economically, even on the coldest winter days.
PT fan system consists of a specially developed air fan, wall Housing and a motorized air inlet damper. A long polyethylene tube is connected to the device and extends horizontally in building support from wire. It is precise holes on both sides punched at certain intervals along its length and has closed towards the end.
Every fan housing assembly is in opening up the outside wall mounted or attached to a roof ventilation fan.
In the winter, conventional make-to-air systems have fresh air in the cold before the removal to heat the building. This is an expensive process in both equipment and continuing energy cost. The Power Tube Fam Make-Up Air System is a simpler system that waste3d Building to be heated, and uses the basic principles for the provision of earodynamic, tempering and distributing make-up air. And that makes it cheaper than conventional make-up air systems to buy, install and operate.
As required makeup air, opens to motorized inlet shutter, the supply fan turns on and provides fresh air inflation of the tube in full length. The air discharges from the holes in the tube to create an overhead as small jets of high velocity, the turbulent Mixing with the warmer air situation. As a result of outside air effectively mitigated before they reach the worker level, making the creation of a single draft free Air system.
Generally, several PT fan systems are required for a building, depending on the size of the building, volume of makeup air required selected size of the PT-fan models. Additional heating, if necessary, may be provided by conventional space heating unit positioned in the vicinity of the distribution PT tubes.
Canada Blower PT Air Make-Up System has the following advantages over coventional make-up air units:

Power Tube Make-Up Air Fans are available in sizes from 18 to 48 for air flows up to 40,000 CFM.
PT Power Tube Make-Up Air System tube is constructed from fabrics made of thick high density polyethylene fiber (8 x 8), coated with poly-coated to a thickness of 6 mils. It is 3.8 ounces per square yeard material. Burst Strength is 118 kg per square inch. The material is flame retardant and meets NFPA 701 standard. The tubes are available in two colors: blue and white. One end of the polyethylene pipe is employed at the plant.
Sufficient make-up air should be provided to balance exhaust from general ventilation and process ventilation.
