Pillow Irregular

The causes fall into two main categories:
Obstructive: Many obstacles or blockages may be due to obesity the adenoids and tonsils large (particularly common in children), irregular physical structure (tongue or uvula or more respiratory close) or throat muscles weak. In asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), allergies, excessive stress and sleeping position narrowed in May as contribute.
Central: This may be due to neurological disorders, stroke, neurodegenerative diseases, surgical complications or even radiation.
There are many causes of sleep apnea. Some are listed below.
- When you're asleep the throat muscles and tongue relax more than normal, and the fleshy tissue at the back of ones throat called the uvula also relaxes while sleeping. This can sometimes cause an obstruction that restricts the airflow to the patient's home to arrest breathing. They wake up due to lack of oxygen, but then they drift back to sleep immediately. Normally, the patient is totally ignoring the problem although it can happen overnight. However, it can affect how they feel during the day.
- A obstructing the passage of air through the nose and throat due to large tonsils and adenoids. This is the most common cause of apnea sleep in children.
- In susceptible individuals, alcohol and drugs allows the muscles to their respiratory system to relax and may cause the sleep problem.
- Damage to the lung surface through smoking is another risk factor. Unfortunately, passive smokers are also endangered.
- Allergies may increase the chances of having an episode of apnea due to nasal congestion.
-- We believe that in many circles of various thyroid diseases contribute to sleep disturbance.
- Although snoring is not a direct indication that was involved. People who snore regularly inhale a large number of all humming of the air causes the soft tissues of the throat grow. This stretch in time may cause obstruction to air traffic.
- Age is another important cause. As we age we lose a certain amount of muscle mass and elasticity. This can cause airways to become blocked, which in turn leads to congestion and respiratory problems.
- Lack of exercise and obesity appear to be linked. If it does not then you are likely to gain weight which will in turn lead to greater likelihood of suffering from this disorder.
- Weight gain makes it more likely to sleep apnea. More deposits of adipose tissue to meet those of the throat when you gain weight, causing the airways to narrow. This can cause the patient to snore louder and makes them more likely to wake up. Sleep apnea affects levels of hormones in the body. The level of leptin, which suppresses appetite and reduces the level of Grehlin is larger which increases the desire for food. Consequently, the patient is sucked into a vicious circle causing even more weight to save.
As one can see, there are many causes of Sleep Apnea. How many times have you lain awake until the early hours trying to get some much needed sleep, only to be kept awake by your partner's snoring? This happens all too often and is not a laughing matter. You deserve a good night's sleep.
