2005 at a glance:
The Minnesota Twins were the fans with a respectable Fielding years, essentially the same team has delivered it to end the 2004 season. Off-season moves:
The Twins have had a tough winter. Talks for Alfonso Soriano and several other at the GM meetings never happened so consistently by the Minnesota Trade RHPS Travis Bowyer (5.59 ERA in 8 games) and Scott Tyler for second baseman Luis Castillo (.301 4 30). Castillo was available as part of the Marlins disassembly. The Twins also signed Rondell White to serve (.313 12 53) as a designated hitter / right fielder (at point Jacque Jones ") and added Tony Batista (.241 32 110 in 2004) with the Expos to play after one full season in Japan to carry out tasks in the third base.
2006 Analysis:
With the White Sox and Indians moving to make their rotation to improve the Twins did too little to improve their starting position personnel. The twins are hoping that Johan Santana is 2005 his efforts to repeat and would not mind if he could pick up another victory of the season 20, as he did in 2004 - Because everyone will contribute something. If Lohse can build a better full season, that should help some of the discharge of the rotation as well.
The twins should be better in the infield and they hope that will be the addition of Luis Castillo, which help section. Rondell White is expected that a steady bat in the everyday Add lineup and it will be interesting to see how Tony Batista after missing a full year in Major League pitching performs. Batista is a legitimate threat to the long ball his final years in Baltimore and Montreal - so his bat is a welcome addition. Since the White Sox and Indians are much deeper Fielding rotations, it will be very hard, to compete for the Twins.
