That is one thing that has kept the Westerners scratching their heads - why Asians are generally clean? Specifically, why do not the people Japanese weight?
With the exemption of sumo wrestlers, the bodies of Japanese people are generally looking healthy, even some ectomorphic respects. What is their secret? - Perhaps the Okinawa diet.
The Okinawa diet is a diet commercially available which is modeled on the traditional eating habits of the elderly who live on islands of Okinawa. These people are deemed to be life long, very low heart disease incidence (80% or less) and very low cancer rate of 50%. People who follow the traditional Okinawan diet benefit from these plus a chance to remain fairly high lean throughout their lives.
As a diet, this regime gives strong emphasis on the density of calories contained in food. There are four food groups, which includes lightweight, light, medium and heavy foods. As their names suggest, these foods are classified according to light or how heavy they are in terms of calorie content.
Featherweight foods are naturally more low in calories. These include tea and green vegetables like asparagus. Food and light weight means are moderately full of calories. They are the standard rates such as brown rice, lean red meat, fish and hummus. The trucks are known as food culprits are classified into categories, which understand the desserts and fried foods.
Having said this, advocated the regular use of diet and food featherweight light. Make no mistake though, as it is not purely focused on restricting calories. Instead, it puts more emphasis on food foods that have a low caloric density yet have a high nutritional value.
Okinawa Diet is restricted in such a way that grows to overeat. According to the principles of this diet, a participant must be 80% after every meal. However, it is okay to eat after 20 minutes to satisfy hunger and prevent overeating.
