I have an Intex krystal clear deluxe saltwater system pool. What doesthe code: "90" mean?
We have tried to set up our pool for weeks and finally we have everything we need, but I miss placed the manuel and the DVD does not tell me nothing. When we put him to belong, it will work for a few seconds and then starts beeping. The code "90" appears and I'm wondering what that means? Any help would be appreciated!
It is a water related issue. If you have a clean filter cartridge and the pump is running fine, I would check the actual flow switch on the generator. If the reverse is installed or if something is allowing in keeping the "no flow" position, it will stop the cell from receiving juice to chlorine to make as it should. I would also check whether the cell is installed of the correct direction. There should be an arrow or "in", "Out" in the right direction of water flow to indicate. If it is installed backwards that will surely cause you the error code 90 since the water flow switch think that no water flows when in fact there ... Just back from the switch. It may even be that the switch is defective, but I start my troubleshooting there. For the record: You flow direction is such that the cell (thingie with all wiring connected to that looks like a tube) after the inlet of the pump just before your pool back. That is the direction of flow. If the "in" on the cell next to the actual pump .. you are connected correct. If the point of returning to the pump ... that is wrong. Same idea with the power switch. If only one arrow, and no "power", the arrow along the line your return and not back at the pump.
