It is now common for people to spend many hours each day playing video games. If you're one of those types of people, then you should know ergonomics so you do not suffer any pain. Ergonomic design means you basically sitting and space around you to be more comfortable and less damaging to the body. There are a few different steps you can take to help you on this --
1. First, you must ensure that when you're sitting in your lower back is pressed firmly against your head. This helps to provide support your spine and also maintains a healthy form for the back. You should also try to keep our feet on the ground to take some weight on the rest your body.
2. The position of upper body is also important. When playing video games you should try to keep your forearms parallel ground with elbows to your sides. Keep your shoulders as relaxed as possible.
3. You should not keep all items you need from you so that you need to stretch for them, even if you want to drink a soda or tea while playing a game that should be easily accessible.
4. It is better to be sitting in a position so that the top of the screen or the screen is directly in line with your vision. It is natural for our eyes to look down, which takes the pressure on the neck.
5. The monitor or screen should be directly in front of you. If you twisting the upper body or neck to see then this is likely to cause pain.
6. If you plan to talk on your cell phone while playing video games, then turn on the phone or get a speakerphone handsfree set. Do not jam the phone between your ear and shoulder.
Ergonomics basically means designing a sitting position and space around you that most comfortable and least damaging to the body while for example playing video games.
