I have a friend who will supply products, which retail for small businesses. He decided a few years ago that he and the amount of business he had happy. He stopped all forms of new marketing - and focuses only on keeping its existing customers satisfied.

He was now comfortable and good business had made. What he could not tell, while he was not looking for new customers, more and more supermarkets were opened in the area. They took business left and right in the middle of the small retailers.
