What is Queensland? One of the five states of Australia, with a subtropical climate, beaches, the lights from the hotel windows, the sound of the ocean flow and an opportunity to plunge into the real alien. The capital is Brisbane.

The Great Barrier Reef is one of the worldâ wonders. It extends from New Guinea to the south of the tropics. The coral reef system is over 2,000 kilometers long. Most of the reefs are under water, but some can be seen on the water surface during low tide.
To observe all this, the first thing you do is reach Port Douglas to-one nice place with a wide plaza. Every morning there are high-speed catamaran Quicksilver heading to the reef. 1.5 hours of a slight breeze, and there it is, in a horizon a great hulk adrift in the Oceana area. Tourists spend the whole day here, but even 12 hours is not enough for swimming, a helicopter flight over inhabitants of the reef and sea food. Divers plunge into a wonderful world of underwater caves, coral and marine plants and move their tentacles in an attempt to catch fish. The water is perfectly clear, which is good if you want to take pictures. All you have to be careful that jellyfish.
The scientists say are needed corals very long time to grow, and the largest of them are over a thousand years old. Therefore, tourists are not allowed to break any part out of, or charged a fine.
Animal life.
There are several cars driving along the roads of Queensland, but most people prefer classic Jeeps with reinforcing steel in your hood, if you encounter a kangaroo, the animal can jump in front of a car and hit the windshield. The variety of animals is endless Ostriches, giant lizards koala pretty soft ... termitary covered or below? The road reaches the sea and runs along the seashore: this is the place to enjoy a magnificent panorama of the coast of Queensland coves of white sand, black rocks, slopes covered with green forests ... The forest is based on a Daintree River, which flows at sea. Be careful, you can meet the sea crocodiles here: live in the midst of salt water and have very strong jaws.
The Edge of the World.
Further north, you will see fun palms that are used to obtain a water-this is usually done in the morning. There is only one place where these trees grow to and its Queensland. Those exotic, like love of a stay at the Coco Beach Resort (Cape Tribulation) Â-two dozen homes stack, each equipped with wicker chairs and tables. Forests contrast with the hotel amenities.
The road goes further, from Cape Tribulation to Cape York. Better use of two cars if they are to-that take a long time the rescue team to find out if something happens to one of the cars.
Cape York is one of the least explored places on Earth, full of history and legends Aborigines. This is the land of adventure, a desolate place, inhabited by spirits and strange creatures.
