Some themes are very good free WordPress there. However, in my experience, support and ease of use that comes with Premium WordPress themes is much worth the cost.
Why did I start looking at the, and finally buy Premium WordPress themes? Because in the end I preferred the simple modification, polished style, and support forums.
The following are guidelines for buying a premium WordPress theme.
1. What license are you buying?
I'm not going to buy a theme which restricts the amount sites and blogs that I can create - whether for my own use or for use by customers for the cost of buying time. I do not need restrictions to use a theme that I buy. What I need then is fundamentally a developer license.
2. Fundamental question: Is it difficult to change the WordPress theme?
Find out if you need to know HTML, CSS, and / or PHP to adapt the concept? For many WordPress themes, the answer is no. Caution before buying because some topics require that you and know CSS or PHP to Build and fix your website.
3. Is the theme W3 compliant code
Many themes Free WordPress poorly coded. Chances are we can not distinguish right from wrong code, unless you know yourself coding. This is another reason to buy a premium theme from a decent seller WordPress theme.
Be sure to require proof that the Domain (s) you purchase code is W3 compliant. W3 is the World Wide Web Consortium which develops web standards.
4. Here are some details you should decide if you need to design your site:
- What does the theme drop-down menus?
- Does the theme that give you the option to list categories in top navigation bar?
- How many columns are there? How many columns you want?
- Do you love typography (font, font size, font color (s), etc.)?
- Mostly pictures, videos and slide that you see in the example themes are not included. Therefore, if you want a similar look and feel you have to add your own images, video and slideshow. Assess the details of the themes to see how easy it is to add images, video and / or slideshows.
- Sizing automated miniature is a very interesting feature if you like lots of images to your blog. Many themes premium offer self-management of size. I recommend getting this feature because you'll likely want to use. However, if you find the perfect theme in every other respect, not to the automated design of a deal-breaker.
5. Is the theme widget ready?
Widgets significantly improve the functionality of a WordPress site and customization options. This means you certainly need a subject that is "widget ready". 'Widget Ready' means the theme is developed to respond instantly widgets. I would not buy a theme that is widget ready.
6. What is involved to change the header and / or logo?
By using your own header and logo is a primary means of customizing your website and blog. Therefore, the ease with you can change the header and / or logo is important.
Some themes you can upload your own header from options panel. Other issues that require you to download your head through your hosting service. It is more simpler and faster through the options panel, but it does not hurt to become familiar with downloading files via your domain host.
7. Can you change the color scheme in the options panel?
When you shop for a theme, if Color is important to you, make a demo and see if you like the color options available. Note that some themes upscale offer many varieties color while other topics are "what you see is what you get."
8. Be sure to consider the type and quality of support provided with a purchase subject
I prefer the theme developers that come with the support of the Forum and the possibility hire an experienced developer to help me if I need specialist help.
To date, all assistance I need I got support forum. A forum well moderated, which is essentially a feature is an excellent support. Just make sure the theme Moderators senior developer to answer questions.
9. Will the theme "as is" meet your needs?
Buying a WordPress theme is all about saving time - time to build your own theme and the time to review the topics freebie. This means that it makes more sense to buy a theme that requires the least modification.
That said, if you find a theme that meets most of your needs, do not spend two more days trying to find the perfect theme. Often "good enough" is good enough.
10. The cost of premiums for WordPress themes
First, whatever the theme you buy it much cheaper than hiring a web developer. Right out of the door you are ahead. That said, expect to pay between $ 10 to $ 130, and perhaps more for a theme.
There are three pricing models: single purchase, a purchase of the entire subject and member of the club (subscription model for example).
The single purchase gives you license for a single subject. Keep in mind that you may use it once or you May be used as much as you want on as many websites as you want. I always want the unlimited license.
All purchase subject gives you full access to all the themes developed by this developer theme.
Membership the club is a form of the all-access model theme, but requires that you pay a recurring cost to maintain access to new topics and help.
I usually buy a single theme and if I like it, upgrade to a purchase off-topic. I avoid the membership (current) model of purchase because I'm not locked into an ongoing expense.
Building websites and blogs with themes of premiums is a very effective way to get a great looking, high-functioning sites.
