Alternative Medicine – Giving The Body What It Needs To Heal Itself

by Anju Mathur, MD

Many people have heard of chelation therapy where bonding agents are introduced into the body via an IV drip and those agents attach to heavy metals (mercury and lead, etc.) and take them out of the body. But did you know IV drips can be used to introduce other substances into the body for faster healing?

If patients receives nutrients by IV, this process gets around the problems of uncertain absorption into the bloodstream and delivers them directly. Vitamins, minerals, amino acids and other supplements can speed up recovery.

Various substances can be introduced via IV depending on what's wrong with the patient. High doses of vitamin C, B complex, magnesium, trace minerals and glutathoine can be used to strengthen the immune system.

Chronic illnesses and infections can be relieved with this method of treatment. Lyme disease, cancer, shingles, pneumonia, flu, gastrointestinal distress will benefit from this therapy and it will help patients recover and avoid infections if given before and after surgery.

A high dose of vitamin C infusion could deliver anywhere from 25,000 to 100,000 mg of vitamin C to the body. This is used to treat various viral infections, including herpes, shingles, Epstein Barr virus, etc. Cancer patients greatly benefit from vitamin C infusions.

Other viral infections such as heart conditions and Parkinson's disease respond to IV drips of Glutathoine, which is a great antioxidant.

Nutritional deficiencies caused by bad diet or inability to absorb food can be treated with an amino acid drip.

The narrowing of the arteries that comes with age can easily be treated with an IV drip of PlaqueX. PlaqueX is a combination of phospholipids, which are little building blocks of cells. They make up the cell membranes around each cell, and control what enters the cell. As a person gets older production of phospholipids declines in the body, so replenishing the supply greatly enhances circulation, tolerance for exercise, as well as reducing cholesterol, tryglycerides, and reducing angina attacks.

If not for the huge profits being made by drug companies who promote drugs with side effects and then sell more drugs to combat the side effects, natural medicine would by now be mainline medicine. The number of patients finding out about it and getting great results increases daily.
